With Easy Life, customers on Easy Starter and Easy Cliq packages will enjoy lower rates of 25 kobo per second calling anyone, anytime, on any network in Nigeria effective from September 1, 2010.

The half call rates tariff package offers subscribers the benefits of doubling their call time whenever they load credit given the current call rate of 50 kobo per second. The lower call rate is applicable on calls to anyone, at anytime of the day, to any network in Nigeria.

To maximize the benefits of the latest tariff offer on the stable of the innovative telecoms company, all a subscriber needs to do is to simply dial *220*1# and connect to the Easylife and enjoy the new tariffs immediately. Upon subscription, a notification confirming the subscription is received. To confirm the subscriber status all you need to do is dial *220#. Subscribers can also deactivate subscription to the offer by dialing *220*2#. Subscription to the offer is automatically renewed every day at a daily access fee of N20 only.

Explaining the rationale and details of the tariff offer, Etisalat’s Chief Commercial Officer, Wael Ammar, said that the innovative telecommunications company is committed to evolving new products and services as well as bringing value and affordable tariffs that are of utmost benefit to their customers who remain the core of their business. According to him, “Easylife is another innovative offer that is pocket-friendly and so it makes life easy for our subscribers who constantly desire to stay connected to their business associates, families and loved ones without cost constraint. More over your subscription to easy life has no effect on your current benefits on Easy Starter and Easy Cliq so you can still enjoy the rest of the benefits like You & Me, Bonus on incoming calls, free midnight calls, free browsing and more.”

The CCO explained that mid-night tariffs on Easy Starter or Easy Cliq are not affected by subscription into easylife, as easy starter subscribers are still able to enjoy 10 kobo per second to all Etisalat lines between 12am and 4.30am. Easy cliq subscribers will continue to enjoy free midnight calls as usual provided the required conditions are met.
